I’VE SEEN THAT FACE BEFORE

Cafè Oto, E8 3DL , [Venue Details]

With Poisonous Relationship + William Joys + Island Girl + Nicky

Thursday,
2 Apr 2026
@7.30pm

A new music and performance night, curated by singer-songwriter NiCKY and writer and filmmaker Sean Burns. It is the first in a quarterly residency series showcasing an eclectic line-up of queer artists all experimenting on the fringes of avant-garde music, visual art, and performance.

poisonous relationship is the musical project of Glasgow-based artist Jamie Crewe, who sings, writes, produces, performs, and DJs. Rooted in feminine house, PR ventures into esoteric pop songwriting, experimental structures, and dance floor experiences both tender and demonic. Live, expect vocals, exposure, and ecstasics.

William Joys channels characters that arouse suspicion regarding the endorsement of authenticity over ‘artificial’ construction. He performs through layers of subterfuge and becomes an object that embodies the prop, the stage, and the costume, thereby promoting the very art of acting.
